Extra Info- Siri is ready to find a home! She is said to be 16 years old-our vet agrees that her teeth tell a similar story. She stands about 14.1/2hh. She is usually super easy to catch(although since I’ve started riding her, she occasionally will run away when I come with a halter ). She is quiet to tack up, she ties (impatiently), was good for the vet and farrier. She can be very pushy on the ground and a bit under saddle as well so a confident handler and rider will be best for this girl. That being said she has not offered to buck, rear or bolt under saddle. She doesn’t seem to know what a bit is but also doesn’t ride bit less so , she has started to get the hang of riding in a snaffle but still plays with the bit a lot and can be a bit head tossy. She walk, trots and lopes around pretty nicely, she rode down our little access road by herself no issue. She has an adorable little jog that you could ride all day long. I have not noticed her to be spooky-like at all. I think with some consistency this is going to make someone a really nice little mare. She is utd on shots, float, farrier, dewormer and chiropractor. Her feet were a mess when she came in but cleaned up pretty nicely-she currently is in front shoes-previous owner said she can be ouchie on rocks.

Extra Info- Beau was recently surrendered to the rescue, we were told that he was neurologic. Upon arrival we saw that he was horribly under weight, he is gaining weight nicely. We will get him healthy and then have our vets evaluate him for any neurologic issues. We want to make sure he is up to weight to rule our weakness before doing a neuro exam.

Extra Info- Bones came from an Amish family in Iowa where he was primarily used as a cart horse. We have been working with bones on carrying a rider, although he does not mind a rider on his back he is still trying to figure out forward with a rider. He can be a little nervous when he goes out solo but we will continue to work with him until he finds his new forever home.

Extra Info- Faith will require a confident rider, she can be a bit testy with a timid rider. She will walk, trot, lope, both directions. She has a pretty good stop, she will ride out by herself but can be a bit buddy sour. She is currently in for a refresher with our trainer as she hadn't been ridden in 8years prior to coming into the rescue. She prefers to be ridden without a bit. She is low in a herd setting. She can be pushy on the ground but is easily corrected.
