Trainer Release Program
The trainer release program is a program designed to help more of the rescue horses get the training they need while alleviating the financial strain of training cost for the rescue. How this works is that qualified individuals are able to take a rescue horse and work with the horse until it is ready to find a home, the horses will have a set of training requirements that they must meet before they are able to be listed for adoption. The trainer and SLHR will agree on a fee that will go to the rescue once the horse is adopted and the trainer will keep anything above that fee for their time. It is very similar to the BLM trainers incentive program they do for mustangs.
